Re: need help
an adjustable cam gear advanced will give more high rpm hp but you will lose considerable power in the low rpm range. ignition timing should not be messed with unless you have serious mods and you engine is very far from being stock .

only do it if you have 20 or more horses and an engine snap like a race car [instant]. an engine without will only lose power if you lighten the flywheel.

if you arleady have exaust, check out individual throttle body induction. blowers are cool but you can never drive in the rain. turbos have lag. i like naturally asperated power for it's practical uses as well as racing. check out DSK or maruha motors.

Re: More car troubles
the battery needs to be insulated from the ground when removed from the car. if it sits on a metal shelf, tool box, or anything that could conduct electricity to the ground for more than a few hours, it will drain completlty. i always place the battery on a plastic shelf or a wood crate when i remov...

Re: Really loud click sound!!!
i am sure it's the differential. this car has one of the smallest ring gears i have ever seen. on rare ocasions i drive my car hard and so far i have gone through three differentials. each differential developed a crack in the ring gear. the click sound is from the pinion gears poping.

check it out!! the thottle body has a shock absorber that keeps the trottle from snapping closed. this goes out often even more so if you do quick shifting. look at your TB manually snap the throttle you should see it work. some work half the time so do it more than once.

Re: Someone help me before I kick my cars' a$$
if you have an oil leak your belt will not survive very long. next time it happens check your alternator and water pump for free movement.spin the alt. listen for bearing noise. some rebuilt aternators never get new bearings. it depends on who builds it. rotate the water pump pully and listen for th...
