pull the whole engine harness and unwrap it... Had a friend with similar problem althought it didn't toast the disty...unwrapped it...checked all the wires for resistance...all good.... re-wrapped, plugs back together with Di-Electric grease...never came back... roughly....on ANY turbo... 2 ports = oil only and can only be used with oil. 4 ports = Oil and coolant, how you tell... 1 side of the oil passage is usually milled straight down so you can see the turbo shaft...blow into that hole...where the air comes out = other oil = other 2 are coolant... high rev motors usually take 10w30 or 5w30 in cold climates... I run QuakerState Full Synthetic 5w50..I also never drive at under 3000rpm...I go for the sticky effect to prevent possible lack of oiling... If i upped my redline to 7500 or 8000 i'd drop back to 30weight just to keep things smooth...yo...

Depends ENTIRELY on the condition of the motor before as to your results post.... My old 1.6 had 235K km....probably NEVER apart...i pulled of the TB before i foamed it and there was literally a CAKE of carbon...The motor didn't run bad....but stood tobe better... The problem with running the last bit of fuel out of a fuel cell or gas tank is that the gas is not all that clean. You get sediment in the bottom of the tank. Then the dirt will clog the filter and maybe the injectors if it gets passed the filter. Not a good idea IMO. yeh but most cell's are botto...
