EDIT: I think its a M20. Ill have to take another look tommorrow. Dosent Garrett only make T3 and T4 turbos? All I know is that I have a Garrett. I couldnt really read what it said. It was in bad shape

I can tell by looking, thats a T04B V or H trim. do you have a micrometer? if you measure the inducer and exducer you can determine the trim.
theres also no wastegate on that turbo. youd have to run an external.
the turbine housing looks very large, are there any a/r numbers stamped in it? looks 1.20 or larger. definitely a T4 frame turbo. I personally think it's too large. if its a P trim in the turbine housing as i suspect, likely wont get full boost until the top of 2nd gear with a KL. You could swap to a smaller turbine housing if you find out what trim the turbine wheel is. You can pick up a .58 for a reasonable price and then youd have yourself a fine turbo for 350-400 whp.

that compressor is actually quite large. it has a 2.75" exducer and ~2.2" inducer. It can support 400 hp.
