Re: Looking for Interest in Colt Cams

I had purchased a set of COLT 218 Race grind cams, and I have run the COLT 210 Street grinds. He can not use the K8 cams as regrinds, I didn't get into specifics with him, but he knows what a K8 cam is and say he cannot regrind them to the specs of the cams he offers. I noticed very minimal gain wit...

Re: begi 2035 fmu

I've used the Cartech 2025, which is the same as this one minus the Fuel Pressure Regulator. If your staying low boost I would stay 8psi and under it works excellent, It has some real benefits over a normal FMU. Like for example the Onset Boost. Where when your car goes from Vacuum To boost a normal...

Re: EGR valves, are they interchangable??

Your K8 one will bolt on and hook up to your KLDE motor.

Re: EGR valves, are they interchangable??

Do you have any Check engine light codes?

Just because the CEL is not on does not mean the ECU is not having a code. Try pulling codes and see if it tells you anything.

Re: 1.8l v6 options

To answer your question you can use a 2.5 liter KLDE/KL03, From a 93-97 Ford Probe or 93-97 Mazda MX-6/626/Millenia. It will fit as is and uses all your mounts, wire hanress, transmission, everything is swappable. A 2.5 liter KLZE is an option too there are 2 different kinds though, Curve neck ZE an...

Re: klde help

Pic of the Cold Air Intake??

If you clamp the clamp on the VAF too tight it will affect the "plunger" thing from moving in and out freely. Happen to me.

Re: klde help

I would start by checking the spark plugs/spark plug wires/disty cap, correct firing order.

Maybe any leak in the intake between the VAF and the Throttlebody

Re: ZE CURVE NECK RUNNING A BIT ROUGH.....

If you have the Probinator chip the CEL is not from the EGR. His ECU deletes the car from popping the light on from the EGR not being there.

Pull the code and see which on your car is throwing, I'm sure its not the EGR one

Re: Conjecture on engine light?

Even though the CEL is not on it still has the code stored in the ECU. So don't think you need to check the light only when the CEL is on.

Re: Help!

Its your disty!! When you get code 4 it looses the ability to track which cylinder is at which position so what it does is fire all 6 injectors every time since it doesn't know the specific cylinder postion. The only way your car is running is because in the 92-94 MX-3 they have essentially 2 crank ...

Re: Conjecture on engine light?

It takes literally like 1 min to check the codes. I always carry a paperclip in my car, just hop out and toss it in and BAM you find the codes.

This link is all you need.

Re: Can the Clutch/Pedal be Adjusted

You have an adjustment on the pedal that will extend the rod to make it engage sooner. This is aside from the freeplay adjustment screw. If you look at the top of the clutch pedal you will see two nuts on the rod, loosen them and you can spin the rod by hand. Then when your happy with the new pedal ...
