I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Its about time there was some colt cam action on mx-3.com

Bolverk - you need to supply the cams, colt just overlay welds and regrinds a new profile for you and sends them back.

Ah, hmm. That would be difficult then since its my daily driver. Depending on how long it would take and how soon we can do this I would still be interested though. But I'll need to drive it in early March.

Are K8 cams interchangeable with ZE cams as far as the journals go? If so there's K8's a plenty out there to rob from.

yep they interchange.. I have spare k8 and de cams i kept years ago for a regrind at some point. Im one of those people that think regrinding KL31 cams is a sin...

I will only get in on a GB if there is enough people to get the price down to about 350 a set.. i think that's a fair price for the gains

True, thats a good price, but does it include tri-flo's?

It lists tri flo's as 600 per set, which doesn't make alot of sense to me, all they are is one intake valve NA grind and one RACE grind per cylinder, instead of both the same. I suppose its twice the setup time and that's why it is almost twice the price

Do you guys know if the tri flows have a steady idle like the regular 210 grinds? I would be interested but I dont want a crazy idle.

Colt cams is 15 min from my house...

i was in one of the gb's from probetalk but didn't put them in yet :) the k8 are not the same from what the guy said from colt cams, half of the de's are the same as the ze's. i was told this since the one oil passage on was wrecked, turned out i could use a de one and all was good.

Not to insult, but I read this a few times, and still don't understand what you are meaning to say.

On another note, an other reason why I didn't pursue this was I figured it was old news, looks like I should start saving.

I have full intent to turbo my ZE. I wrote Colt Cams saying I do intend to turbo, but not right away. How will the turbo grind effect a NA ZE. They said I may lose a little in the top end, that's it.
