Re: Cussin... all that fu*kin cussin
I have to admit I get called on my language often on this board. I have been asked frequently to edit my posts for language. I think it's silly to put on the language screen because like said before, we're all adults. But, this is how you have to think about it. It's Jeff's site. If Jeff wants the l...

Actually gaugepods.com only has the 2 pod design. If you find a 3 pod design, I would love to get in on it.

Re: All available help NEEDED!!!
Check your VRIS. You have 2 solenoids that open airflow within the I/M. If they are not opening right, you will get that feeling of no power. When the second one activates is when you are getting that "turbo boost". The way the VRIS is designed it to give maximum torque throughout the powe...

Re: K8-Compatible Cars?
Let's see, the K8 is just a KL debored and destroked. So you could replace any car that has a K8 (MX-3 only) or a KL03 (MX-6, 626, Probe GT, Millenia) with your K8. Now, it would be kind of silly to put a K8 in a car with a KL03 unless you are planning on selling it, but then you're basically screwi...

Re: How to go turbo???
Actually the B6T is the direct swap. You'll have to swap over other parts for the BPT but still worth the cash in my opinion. There are a few people on the board that have the BPT, and some that have the B6T. I would reasearch turbo's before trying to adapt it to our car.

Re: Big Engine or Turbo???
Basically it's your call. A turbo setup will yield about 200HP on the K8 engine with good tuning. A KLZE engine gives about 195-200HP. The KLZE would be the cheaper and more reliable of the two, but you don't get the "thrill" of having a turbo. A good turbo setup will prolly run you $1500-...

very possible with modifications. Although I don't see really see huge bennefits other than keeping the hot air away a little more. Anything is possible and may actually work really well. Only one way to find out I gess ![Shrug ](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)

Re: i want a turbo
There are actually no turbo kits for the K8 engine as far as I know. There are a couple of people who have turbocharged their K8 but they did a custom job. If you search the site you can find a lot of information on it. Turbocharging the K8 folows the same rules as turbocharging a KL03 or a KLZE eng...

$500 - $1200USD for a Tial Wastegate? Sorry buddy but you;re shoppin in the wrong places. A 35mm Tial is about $210, a 40mm is $350, and a 46mm is $455. <p>I believe he was asking about putting a remote on the internal wastgate. He doesn't want to mount an external, he just wants to be able to contr...

Re: EFI + Turbo =
Basically I was thinking about different ways to go about doing my fuel managment when I turbocharge my car. I decided on a 12:1 Vortech FMU, but I was just thinking that factory turbo systems don't use FMU's. They use their computer. I was just wondering how much boost we could put to our engine wi...
