The dohc is a 2 piece oil pan the sohc is a single piece. Save yourself the headache find a dohc oil pan.

I bet they're the same flywheel... there not doll pins mounted differently from the sohc and dohc not to mention the dohc clutch disc and pressure plate is physical a bit larger than that of the sohc. . lime, the miata community does swap to the 4w head but they keep the 4w manifold on the head when they swap it in. . Mfactory has a them about $700 + extra expense's u need to know if u need a 26 spline or 28 spline diff. The other brand is Quaife and expensive.
