I have some kind of hesitation too. But it is a bit different. I only get it in 5th gear when I am WOT for like 2-3 seconds and the boost is at maximum. It accelerate, then cut, accelerate .5 seconds, cut and so on, like an electronic cut off or something. It is pretty weird as it doesn't do it in o...

Yes I've got the stainless steel clutch line. I will try with the protege slave cylinder, it was on my check up list :) BuGS, yes I tried to shift everywhere then in reverse, I know it can do that but it doesn't seem to be the problem. I won't get it to a tranny shop now too, I'm pretty sure it's a ...

Reverse not engaging?
Hi, I just finished changing my clutch yesterday, moved from a Centercrap Dual Friction to an ACT streetdisk/heavy duty pressure plate and I was going for a test drive and I've been stuck when I tried to go in reverse when I entered in a parking. Gear 1-2-3-4-5 works #1, but I simply can't shift int...

MX-6 Clutch on a BPT/Protege DOHC tranny/flywheel
Hi, My Centerforce Dual Friction is not strong enough for my car and I need to change my clutch ASAP. I know Marlon is using an MX-6 Clutch kit from ACT, but he told me to use the pilot bearing and the throw out bearing from the Protege. But when I look on ACT website, the MX-6 bearings has the SAME...

Which disk do you have, street or race disk? I think I'll take the MX-6 clutch kit. Their street disk can hold 285 lbs/torque, it should be enough. I'll order it next week and I'll go @ mazda to buy the pilot bearing and the throw out bearing. I'll install my stainless steel clutchline at the same t...

So you haven't floored it with your centerforce yet? I'm having alot of slipping with my centerforce dual friction on my setup. I have the same tranny (Protege GT 95) and running at 13 psi. I'm going to change to something stronger at the end of the month, centerforce is full of crap on a BPT (I've ...
