What vehicle is the FWD FE3 motor from? Just trying to get a feel for how common they would be at wreckers over here... I might be able to phone around for you & see if anyone would be willing to ship it over for you...?

Re: Electric MX3 Conversion
An MX-3 EV would be great, but what interests me is what it was that caused the original poster to drop the project/drop posting about it. We never saw this guy on our Australian Eunos 30x forum (which most Aussie members on here are a part of), and because he's in my country, I reckon there might h...

Mike, pretty sure an airbag can't go off if it's not connected to a sensor... (which would be why it's not functional in this car.) Also, would it not be easy enough to remove the whole airbag? (sorry, never taken an airbag wheel apart myself, so don't really know! I wouldn't think it'd be difficult...

Sweet, that'll be interesting to see how it turns out, I'd love to see what this turns into eventually! There's a whole lotta respect for any man who's willing to take on the design, engineering & construction of their own car, let alone something as ambitious as this! I guess the main thing to ...

Ah, yep, I know the colour! It's also around on the Liberty & Outback from memory (I think you call that the Legacy over there...? Not sure if your outback has the same name as ours... Its basically a jacked up Liberty wagon here...)
Nice colour, I rate it would look sweet on our cars

Haha I know, MM92 - I think this colour was a Japan-only colour. I only know of one other one in Australia that is this colour, and it is also a Jap imported Presso. Incidentally, it's in my city somewhere, but I've only ever seen a pic of it on a local classifieds website... And thanks for the kind...

Nice to see a little progress on both cars!
With regards to the cheap paintjob, go a blue primer!! Be different! We've all seen primer red, primer black and primer white MX-3s, but no primer blue...? Plus, you know you love blue
No pressure or anything, though
