Re: 92 SOHC vs 88 civic hatchback
I realize that the links are for new engines. I was putting those up to show that there definately is a partnership there. You just need to settle down a bit, mellow out, and chill. Is a bulletin board realy worth getting all pissed over. People like you and those who try to act all tough on chat ro...

Re: 92 SOHC vs 88 civic hatchback
Let me put it this way. I know that there are not as many MX-3's out there as there are Hondas. No doubt about it. However, how many fast B6 engined MX-3's do you know of?? I mean truly fast, not mid 15's or even high 14's. Fact is the B6 engine family that is in the MX-3 cannot handle the kind of p...

Re: 92 SOHC vs 88 civic hatchback
It's kinda funny that the guy bashes me for haing a civic when it says at the bottom of my reply that I own an MX-3. I dont own a civic but they have 10 times the potential that an MX-3 does. Honda engines are just plain better than Mazda ones made by Ford.

Re: 92 SOHC vs 88 civic hatchback
One word describes all of this, bulls---! A 5 second 0-60 time would kill most car on the street minus vettes, really good mustangs/camaros, porches, etc. Ignore people like this because they have no idea what they are talking about. Oh and to get a KL-ZE into a 3 second 0-60 you would need a turbo,...

I love my car too. I just don't see it as worth it. To each his own I guess.

MX3RS, I'm with you man. Racing an 88hp car is a lost cause. I own one, I should know.

Re: 92 SOHC vs 88 civic hatchback
Not to pick on you or anything because I own the exact same car as you, but why in the world would you want to drag race a stock <BR>MX-3 with 88HP? It's not worth the effort. Same with your friend, why bother with a stock 1988 Civic hatchback. Both cars are unbelieveably slow at a drag strip. Best ...

Re: K and N air filters?
Be careful with just using a cone style filter on the end of an adapter. The filter may rub against other parts damaging it. Also, I noticed a LOSS in power with the adapter\cone filter setup on my 92RS. It sucks in heat from the engine bay which is very bad as any experienced car person will tell y...

Re: 1/4 Mile Times
I have never been to the track with my 92 RS but I did use the G-tech meter on my car for an approximate 1/4 mile. I got 17.02 on my first try and never did any better. Since then I have added the Pacesetter exhaust and CAI. The car was bone stock then and probably sucking in hot air from my shitty ...

the piping is 2.25 inches, the tip is 4. It doesn't look bad though, doesn't really look like 4 inches.

Re: PAINT PROBLEM...Ahhhhh!!!
I have a white 92 RS and have had to repaint the same spot on the hatch..plus the passenger door and part of the paint above the dirvers door. You are in the same boat I was. Mine is repainted now.

I read on Vaughn Nishimura's site that the V6 TB could be swapped on. I'm pretty sure he knows if it will or not.
