the piping is 2.25 inches, the tip is 4. It doesn't look bad though, doesn't really look like 4 inches.

what exactly does a good looking exhaust tip look like? some PLEASE explain this. The pacesetter tip shines like new penny, is moderate in size and not obtrusive. What else were you looking for

OMG i know we are talking about the exhaust on that car but man I love how people buy "universal" Wings that look SOOOO bad on thier car... Its looks like its ready to be picked up by a plane swooping by with at long cable and a hook at the end... LOL theres a lincon like that looks so terrible I just want to stop the guy and beat the hell out of him for making his car look worse than rice. YES you can make your car look worse than rice in my opinion...

I got the Pacesetter..the only thing i didn't like was how the inside of the tip was yellow, but it got dirty in a few weeks anyways. And yep, Monza is what they sell at PepBoys :) but for $149 you can't really go wrong. It's mandrel bent, 2.25'' catback, and has a 3year warantee...

What good does a nice exhaust system do for your car when you're filling the pipe with burnt oil?! Get the priorities straight, man. Let it run right FIRST, THEN you can modify to your heart's content!
(Plus...with all that bluish-grey smoke coming from your exhaust pipe, {and the raunchy smell of burnt oil}...uhh, who says people can see your car?)
Sorry if I seem to be rude, but it's how I feel. I'm sure there are a lot of car enthusiasts and mechanics that will agree with me.

well , first of all, I know what needs to be done, and everything is already planned, and I didn't consider installing that exhaust as a big performance gain, rather than as a repair, b/c recently purchased the car (back in july 2001) and had to fix some things, one of them was the exhaust which was the old rusted through factory crap, and there was a big hole in it right after the resonator, so that had to be fixed first, and the new engine is on the way, the car itself runs fine, and it smokes only when you floor the gas pedal, plus i don't want to spend money on costly engine problems, I'd rather kill this engine , get a new one, than fix the old 1.8 and try to sell it.
don't think that I don't know what has to be done.. I know a little bit about cars.
peace out :)
