Just one more suggestion, if you use the search option at the top of the bulletin page you can find answers w/o having to post and wait for replies.

THE PROBLEM CAN ALSO BE FROM A CRACK IN THE INTAKE HOSE I'VE ALSO HAD THAT PROBLEM AND REPLACING THE HOSE FIXED IT FOR A WHILE. CHECK THESE FIRST. THE C...

Re: problems with shifting

PROBLEM?<BR>I'M SUPPOSING THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT REVERSE IN A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. I DON'T HAVE ANY REAL TROUBLE,BUT IF YOU SLOWLY LET THE CLUTCH OUT WHILE PUTTING A LITTLE PRESSURE ON THE SHIFTER IT SHOULD SLIDE RIGHT IN AS YOU LET THE CLUTCH OUT. CAREFULLY DONE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS....

Re: I just bought my MX3 yesterday... I got questions?

ABOUT THE REAR DEFROSTER, IT MIGHT BE DISCONNSCTED AT THE HATCH. CHECK IT AND SEE. THERE SHOULD BE A PLUG COMING FROM THE PLASTIC TO AN ATTACHMENT ON THE WINDOW DEFROSTER.(ON THE WINDOW). BE CAREFUL AGAIN...SOME TINT CAN NOT BE USED WITH A DEFROSTER. EVER SEEN A WINDOW WITH LINES OF BUBBLES IN THE T...

Re: C.V. Joints

p.s. if you do the work yourself be VERY careful not to mess up the splines on the shaft or tranny. line them up carefully and use a rubber mallet if needed to help them into the transmission.

Re: C.V. Joints

i also had to get new drive shafts, i have since bought and replaced them four times, every time i used the auto zone rebuilt ones. i think that they are of lesser quality because of the number that i have replaced, but the labor was not too difficult or time consuming using my Chilton's Shop Manual.
