Re: im so happy!!

Which OBX muffler? Please say the B5. I'm planning on getting one soon, and was wondering how quiet it is. Also, did the Pacesetter short shifter come with new bushings? I ordered one last week and didn't look to see.

Re: Removing Antenna, How to fill hole?

I'm not sure how I'm going to get it smooth because I'll have to lay the fiberglass over the hole.

Removing Antenna, How to fill hole?

I'm getting my car painted and I want to take off the antenna. I'm using fiberglass to fill the three holes. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this? I basically know how to do it. But, I'm wondering if anyone with an MX-3 has more input that would help my individual situation, as all...

who has pacesetter short shifter?

Who has the pacesetter short shifter in their MX-3? How smooth is it? Does it have crappy workmanship? Overall how is it?

Re: Mass Air Sensor Q

My wires came loose on mine and I had to shake it to get it to idle right. Then, it wouldn't fix and my idle wouln't stay stable. I took it to a mechanic and they charged me $40 to fix it with epoxy. No more problem.

Re: can a BPT be swapped into a protege?

For the mx-3s we have to put in a protege transmission and axels, so basically you would be in a better position to do the swap. Since it will just mount to your existing transmission (given you get the right year). The internals should definately different. Otherwise Mazda would screwing one of the...

Re: need help with rims

Please get 17s you will not regret it later. They don't create as much drag as 18s but look better than 16s without making it impossible to have your car sit at a nice stance. I bought 17s last year and was considering getting 18s, but then I found out about the BPT swap and I'm trying to go with th...

What became of the CARBON FIBER hoods?

I need to replace my hood because some truck backed into me. I thought since insurance would basically give me enough money for a new painted hood I could just get a carbon fiber hood and not paint it. Anyways, there was some talk about carbon fiber hoods awhile back, and I was wondering if there mi...

Re: 1992 Tranny cost-rebuild

It cost me $400 to swap in a new transmission which cost $200 ($600 total). The mechanic I dealt with said it would be cheaper to just throw in another transmission than changing out some of the gears. I suggest checking into swapping in another transmission, unless you feel more comfortable with a ...

Re: crank/piston kit

It doesn't make enough horspower for the money. Stroker kits are more for V8 because you get more horspower. With 4 cyl. you don't get as much and it cost alot. It's one of those things you get if you've done everything else.
