i just finished swapping a new bp into my 94 rs, it is a really easy swap to do..especially if u can get a couple ppl to help lol. have u tried looking on car-parts.com? thats where i found my motor

what kind of tranny oil did you go with?

are u talkin about a manual or auto tranny? im not sure if its the same for a SOHC tranny, but for a 94+ manual u add/check the fluid with tru the lil sensor on the top of the tranny. its towards the back of it kinda underneath the intake (in that general area) there is even a lil diagram on the tra...

im not 100% on this...but i think i remember reading somewhere on here that its just how the signal is sent to the ecu? cuz my a/f guage does the same thing..but my car always ran fine so i just figured that was how the ecu read the signal

nah you wont have to change clusters if u get a new gen bp

yea i figured that out when i started looking for the part got one ordered last night so hopefully it wont take to long to get here...sucks to wait tho cuz only things left to put on it are the battery, intake, and bolt up some exhaust then it Should start right up...should being the key word

im with u superk i dont see hydrolock being a big problem with the way the CAI is set up...im just thinking that if u get enough water in there to lock the motor up, probably due to a dumb*** move on the drivers behalf

when i had my b6de turbo'd i was running like 8-10lbs of boost and i left my friends 5.0 automatic in the dust LOL it was hilarious to me cuz he had been toying with me all day about it....mx-3 ftw tho

i just assume that since the turbo's are older and used that the seals get weak..specially if the turbo has been off of a running car. i had the same problem with blowing the seals in my vj11...but i bought a new one...and now im going BP so...who knows what imma do with these turbos lol

speed6's are so...So nice...but im getting the speed3 when i get one gotta keep the 3 alive lol
