Would the intake manifold have anything to do with this?

They said they ported out the k8 IM instead of using the straight neck.

Since im using the k8 manifold would that be the reason only the k8 ecu works correctly?

The car runs fine with the k8 ecu. When the kl31 ecu is used to car idles funny after 10 or so minutes then won't startup again.

The shop said my kl ecu may be defected...

Anyone have any ideas?

As I slowly gather parts for the ZE swap, I still have to live with the good old k8 for a little longer. About a week ago I was coming to a red light and as I slowed down car just shuts off. Do not get a cap if your already having electrical problems, it's only going to put even more strain on your alt. Caps are fairly useless anyway, definately not worth the money.
