Re: Automatic Souped Up?

The main differance between a auto and a maual tranny is about 5 to 10% HP @ the wheels. Sticks just use less hp. so a auto with the same mods as a stick will still be slightly lower hp. That and you don't have power on demand like a stick.<P>------------------<BR>Thanks,<BR>Teri<BR>'93 MX-3 SE

Re: Cut Outs

Well with the Ft. Lewis Post decal most cops off post can't smog us, and most likey won't cuz i'm smog exempt, and the MPs just don't care. But they really work good with tubos, cuz i wanted to put one of those on too.<P>------------------<BR>Thanks,<BR>Teri<BR>'93 MX-3 SE

Re: '93 gs special edition

Trust me, I've owned both, the comaro is way heavier than the MX-3 with poor acceleration, and theirs no way my V6 camaro had 200hp, My V8 Formula Firebird only had 300 with and aftermarket engine (5.7L ZZ4), S&P TPI, and a racing exaust. I'd have been lucky to pull an 19sec 1/4 mile whith that ...

Re: '93 gs special edition

Well its definetly faster than the camaro. But I think thoughs three were not the only colors that they came in, my first SE was a metallic blue/greenish color. But I think the dealer might have re-painted it (It was the dealer show car) But their are a few in the US (I've owned 2 now). But their as...

Re: anyone ever take off their hatch??

I busted the back window on my MX, {{sob sob}} Mazda wanted $1000us to replace it, I found a new one at a junk yard for $250us. I had to drive 140 miles to pick it up. The wind drag was so bad i had to fill up again when i got their, and it has poor speed with out it. but the topper is you have to t...

Cut Outs

A friend of mine with a probe ordered this Cut out thing, he then wrecked his probe before installing it. I is a peace of pipe that Ys and has a selecter lever on it for the exaustpipe. Once Instaled it has a pull handle installed in the car for free flow or normal exaust. He gave this to me and sai...

Re: fast and the furious. what do you think

Just a though, when they shot through the RX-7's engine while it was reving on the line didn't they show it as a normal combustion, when it should have been a rotery? Maybe I was just too tired....<P>------------------<BR>Thanks,<BR>Teri<BR>'93 MX-3 SE

Help needed

I was driving one day and my engine started running funny, so i decided to get off the hwy and check it out. when i got off it stalled as soon as the RPMs droped. Now the car will only start if the gas peddle is flored and it dies as soon as the RPMs drop. Has anyone had this problem or know what is...
