OK, looks like no one is in Minnesota then!

Anyone ever have a meet here in MN like the Twin Cities area? Back to the 50's was here on Snelling Ave so I watched the cars as usual and saw a club of Dodge Vipers go by and thought why don't the MX owners in the area get together and cruise Snelling. Anyone want to in MN?

My stock 94 RS also has the same gear grinding problem with my new factory clutch. Actually my tech said the Napa clutches were holding up better than the factory Mazda ones so I got a Napa. My GS does not grind at all on the original clutch at 138 K miles.

My '94 Mx-3 RS does have the idle and dim light problem but the '92 GS does not have the idle problem. I'll have to check the light dim.

I would guess that your low on brake fluid. Thats what happened to me.

2nd gear grind is a common problem with Mazdas. B series, MX, RX7.

What do you guys mean by double clutching? I thought that was only for non syncro gearboxes.

Yeah I just don't need to get up to speed that quick but if I keep the rpms up in 5th gear it accelertates up to 80 pretty quick. Just gotta keep the radio loud enough to keep me awake.

I wonder how hard it is to run the engine at 3200-4000 rpm down the highway in 5th gear cruising for an hour or so? I never shift over 3000 rpm since I don't race or abuse my car.

Is the JDM K8ZE engine much different than our US counterparts?

I just got a new 92 MX3 GS with 138,000 miles on it and the dealer thought it had a blown head gasket but when the mechanics checked it out it turned out to be a faulty water pump. So that may be the case with yours. It did leak badly and blows white smoke.
