I have been told that the escort 90-96 year springs/coilovers fit the mx-3 but does anyone have them? I havent heard of anyone that has. I know of the struts but not the springs only.

Yeah an mx-3 with a klze will blow the doors off any civic! and the stock 99 civic SI does not have near 160hp. My friends SI was dynoed and he ran about 109hp. before I bought my car my friend owned it and the shifter dropped. His dad welded a metal plate underneath the shifter so it would not be able to drop anymore. Exact same thing happend to him as you have described and the plate has been on for years. still works great!

Thank you very much. Great Answer! So when I do the swap am I better off buying the entire car or just certain parts. I have no clue what parts I need besides motor Also is there different motors in the different models of the car like the protege for example?
