Yeah an mx-3 with a klze will blow the doors off any civic! and the stock 99 civic SI does not have near 160hp. My friends SI was dynoed and he ran about 109hp. sorry for buggin but ive been searchin and I cant find a thing

before I bought my car my friend owned it and the shifter dropped. His dad welded a metal plate underneath the shifter so it would not be able to drop anymore. Exact same thing happend to him as you have described and the plate has been on for years. still works great!
