Re: couple wierd sounds
when you are going under 5 mph are you touching the brakes? it could be that you have metallic pads and at not hitting the brakes hard enough not to get a squeal. But then again Maybe someone has put silicone on the back of the pads I know I do, it stops the pads from making a metal on metal sound w...

Re: HE KEEPS SHUTTING DOWN
That is weird. I think I have encountered this before but only in the older mazda trucks. It maybe the same in your case but not sure. check your gas filler neck in the inner wheel well, check to see if it is rusted or has holes in it. Another thing is your fuel pump could be worn out, and connectio...

Re: Hatch Noise
I had the same problem, it's because your hatch is moving side to side and squeaking on the back rubbers. You can get new rubbers
at the dealer for about 8 bucks a rubber I think. That will only last a little while till it wears again. Or you can just put a lubricant on the rubbers, something tha...

Re: Anyone else have this problem??? Please help
I have the same problem. My car is a 92 so it's kinda expected, but still when you rev it up when moving in first, then go to shift to second it's sometimes hard to get into gear unless you really shift it hard and fast. As to the cure have no idea.

Re: window tinting
I have another problem with tinting.
I was up to the local Decal shop yesterday and he was doing great with the tinting, when he ran into a problem, he has to use the heat gun to take the wavs out but he couldn't get all of them because I have the Hatch shade. He told me it had to be removed, in ...

Re: help me replace my manual transmission fluid
It's way easier to get at if you have jack stands. Put the car up slide under the car. look to the drivers side just beside the exhaust, you can't miss the 1/4 inch think speedo cable there is a 10mm bolt that holds it in there, remove it and wiggle the whole thing and you should hear a sucking nois...

Re: what is everyones top speed

Too fast for the street. and yes I know that's over the speed rating of the tires, But I had to find ou...

Re: window tinting
I can't go dark in the side windows 35% is the lightest I can find where I am, and plus there are laws preventing me from going limo dark in the sides, the hatch doesn't matter. but I figure I can't go super dark. I do want to be able to almost see out at night.

Re: Short Shifter
hello again.
thank's for your input guys. I believe I will be going with the pacesetter shifter, just because it's adjustable. I did work in a Mazda dealer for awhile so I have a pretty good idea of how things work.

hey guys and gals, i've been on here for awhile but never logged in thought i'd try it.
I was wondering who has the pace setter and who has the B&M short shifter and which one would be the best to get.
I have actually cut 2 inches off the top of my shifter and it works quite well.
