OMG INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Juddd_83 »

Man I went to the same company and got insurance quotes the RS is about $3306 a year for me and the GS is about $5778. Why is it so much of a difference. Doesn't make sense to me its just crazy. I think im gonna be buying a 4 cyl RS now oh well means less cost for the car as well. Altough I wont have my sunroof now. Damnit i wanted my sunroof.

I resent that! :)
Actually in the US if you have good record the cheapest out there is geico, followed by progressive, followed by State Farm. If you have tickets forget geico, its progressive then state farm. I have you have a claim with progressive... Chances are you're s--- outta luck!
Canada could be different, but compared to allstate and nationwide State Farm is damn cheap!

actually, i think allsate is the cheapest. i had them, but because my other car was a magnet, i had 2 accidents(none were my fault) and a comp claim which wasn't my fault either they dropped me. now i have geico and they are a bit more expensive. progressive is outrageous.

Guys kind of get the shaft when it comes to insurance becuse we are stereotyped when it comes to driving habits. I personally think it should be based on driving history, not some stupid kid who thinks he has a race car.

And it comes to me. I don't even get a choice on my insurance because it is provincially run. For my 93 RS I pay 750 under my dad. If I were to go under my name (20 female, 1 ticket, 0 merits)it would be 950. Full coverage.
Jessica
