[FS] Ultimate External Coil HEI conversion kit - SOLD-

For sale, all components you need to convert your ignition to an external coil triggered by an HEI module. Provides a smoother idle, a bit more of low rpm punch + more than enough spark to ignite anything at high rpm. Do the conversion before your distributor's internal ignitor module dies on you! -...

Just don't install the thick washer. Nut will then be fully threaded in. Nut surface area on rod end is big enough to skip the washer.

Tried to e-mail Jeff many weeks ago about posting a "last chance order" message in the vendors forum and never got a reply from him and was too busy to do any follow-ups. The real job, family, racing and zillion other hobbies/interests are leaving so little time to take care of SRD. Sad to...

Have a custom 2-stages shift light on the dash and over the rear view mirror that's a Gtech RR. For those who like numbers: 1.2 Lat G, 1.0 braking G. http://sites.rapidus.net/stpierlu/temp/jul22.jpg Car is very competitive. In fact Luc Tremblay's (93 SE w/ KL and little less preparation but great dr...

Subframe is not thick enough in that area for threads to support the 100lbs of torque the bolts should see (V6's holes are done using a blind fasteners or inserts). There is no access to use blind fasteners on the RS model :( Suggested to a few guys to weld 4 threaded studs (1/2"x13pitch should...

Don't go too stiff though... Rear TTL suspension relies on bushing compliance to put the toe-in during braking (and toe-in during suspension compression). Also because the 2 lateral link moves along the arc described by the trailing arms, too stiff bushings will result in binding. This is a 2 axis m...

By no pressure on pedal, do you mean pedal goes to the floor? Have you checked that the brake booster hose to the IM and check valve are OK?

The 929 MC is *almost* a direct fit. You will also need the 929 fluid tank (early 90s Protege also fits). Sealing is not really an issue - you don't need a tight seal, only protect from the elements, you can fabricate a gasket using 0.125" neoprene or cork material. The most time consuming part...

Did some more experiments this year with my new 11" rotor brake setup. HPS are great for street use but lack a lot of bite compared to Porterfield R4S. Low in dust, Rotor friendly, effective even when pad is cold/cool, easy to modulate, withstands decent heat (4-5 hot laps is OK). HP+ is a beas...
