Re: Key Bending
memememe. I freek'n hated my original keys design. The key was too long for the thin spot right after the keys head. So it would bend and eventually break off in the lock. I tried all kindsw of different key places; Home Depot, WalMart, Lowes, Mazda and Ace Hardware, they all bent/broke. Thank god t...

Re: Mount filling.
Order some two part liquid urethane from McMaster Carr. Tape one side with duck tape and fill half way. Let cure for the directed time. Flip and fill other side. Let cure, install.

Re: Could This Be Anything But Valve Stem Seals?
yeah I would check compression, could be old worn out piston rings. Usually one or the other and since you are pretty confident in the seals then I would consider the rings next. The rings usually wear faster anyway.

Geez, there is only one member on here that I can think of that might be able to answer your ?... and I cannot remember his screen name. However, he used to be on here alot mroe often and is a MX-3 stereo badass. So you might see if you can find out who has posted the most in this section over the y...

Re: two questions... plz help
1. there is a online manual for the MX-3 on the main page. You can find the answer to the stereo ? there and it is a good thing to get familiar with. 2. The wiper issue sounds like a bad combo switch. They are going to be expensive from Mazda, so check around the for sale section and watch for someo...

Re: axle circlip
I made one for mine once and it worked fine. The wire was pretty close in thickness and was pretty stiff and kind of springy. Just a thought... However, if you can find one easily then go that route of course. I just couldn't find one of mine after the ZE swap (all those years ago) and was not about...

Re: Help me tune my ZE.
Sounds like you need to run through a few things. 1. yes the knock sensor mode will make hte car run in limp mode = bad gas mileage and slow so fix this first. 2. get a DE or curved neck ZE manifold. What injectors are you running? If they are from the K8 mani then you need to at least get some ZE i...

Re: WP pro Brakes issue...
Also, on the brake pads: There are companies that will make pads or will likely have pads for your application. I sing the praises of Porterfield Brakes www.porterfield-brakes.com every time I get. I use their in-house R4 pad and am REALLY happy with how well they work on our stock brake set-up (for...

Re: steering knuckle fitment
Just to add a note to this question about the knuckels and steering: The 93 and 94 knuckels actually have different steering arms too. I cannot remember for sure, but I think the 94s have longer arms. So if you replace your 93 arms (and ball joints) with 94s and do not get an alignment then you are ...

Re: strange alternator removal problem
yeah remove the two bolts on the valve cover so you have some room to move the wires around. When they broke the clip, was it the little push down part or was it worse? Those little push down parts are really old now and are very prone to breaking. I was luck and got a really nice engine harness yea...

Re: Help SuperK Diagnose a AC Problem!
Honestly not trying to be an a--. If I had access to my repair manual and trouble guide I would read a bit and see if I can help with some ideas... If it is still not fixed in the next couple months I should be in the new house and have at least some of the new garage set-up. Post a post on MOCA. Yo...

Re: [GI] Carbon lips
ugh, I am still interested too. Post a thread asking for cheap lip pieces on MOCA. www.atlantamx3.com/mocaforum I think we might have two decent sides if we (MOCA) put two together. I know I have a ok one that I was saving for just such a molding process, but I am too busy.

Re: KLG4 swaps
I've not messed with a G4, but I hear they are pretty much the same (from a hook-up perspective) as a DE. I am not sure how the distyless system would work on a OBD2 ECU since I have not messed with that either. HPPwdn might be able to help, but I know he runs a MSnS on his car and thus the stock EC...
