Re: Timing Belt On the ze
The timing belt on the ze is gonna be the exact same as the k8. I would suggest using the online shop manual from this website. There is also a good write up on this site. You have to put the belt on in a specific way or you will end up off a tooth. I would also suggest changing the tensioner while ...

Re: Removing axle, help needed ASAP
If it is really stuck that badly, you can remove the passenger side cv axle. Once you unbolt the intermediate shaft from the block it will pull right out. Then you can take a screw driver and hammer the drivers side out. I myself have never done this but heard it works great. If you dont want to do ...

Re: 90 Prelude wheels fit?
I believe the prelude wheels will work. A quick search should help you confirm. You should be looking for a 4x100 bolt pattern. When turning left, it is the passenger side cv axle that will make noise if its bad. Are you hearing a clicking noise? or are you actually hearing something rattle? Nate

Re: Removing gearbox
Changing a clutch is one of the most straight forward jobs possible. I am assuming you have very little experience working on cars because of the question you asked. With the right tools and alot of patience changing a clutch is not a complicated job. The hard part is accessing the clutch. Once you ...

Re: Headers
When ever in doubt about parts swapping over between kl and k8 always remember they are essentially the same motor. Different displacement because of a larger bore and stroke. But externally anything that bolts to a kl will bolt to a k8 and vice versa. Exhaust, intake, timing components, motor mount...

Re: Oil Leak
What do you mean by open front end? The tire should not spin if its in gear. Its connected to the crankshaft while in gear. Turning the tire will turn the crankshaft.

Re: Who is in Alabama
I just moved to Birmingham about 2 months ago. I dont currently have an mx3 but I'm looking to get another here shortly. You can look through the worklog forum and see what I used to own. I should have never sold her. If you run across a cheap gs please let me know.

Car has been sold for a few months now. I got bored with the mx3 and I am going to be getting an fd rx7 once i find one that is in decent shape. Its been great and I learned a ton.

Re: [FS] 1993 rs
I thought the gauge was bad, because it would read hot while the motor was still cold enough that I could put my hand on the valve cover. I am talking within 3 minutes of initial start in freezing weather. I bought an auto meter temp guage and wired it up. The car does not over heat while going down...
