Absolutely for sure make some drip guards or make up some way to keep the water off the speakers. I learned the hard way a couple of years back with a nice set of MB Quarts.  That hurt.... $$$ too. Now I have foam hats and plastic sheeting in there to shield my 6 1/2 inch Eclipses, no p...

I have had Water Wetter in for a couple of weeks now and do not seem to notice a difference. I guess you would have to compare the time it takes to heat up to normal operating temp to see a difference perhaps.

my 2 cents.

Sticker in small hatch window. You have one?

Here in Canada the MX-3 was also known as the Precidia, and a sticker with that name came on the MX3 from the factory. It is on the small hatch window. Did these cars have a different sticker for other countries? The US cars I have seen have no stickers, so I assume that those in the US dont. What a...

I have had the pleasure of having owned both cars. From 1991 to 1996 I owned an '89 CRX SI. Then, I traded her in on my present '96 GS MX3. I can tell you having driven both for several years that each has its pros and cons. In my opinion, the MX3's curves make her a sexier looking car. Few can argu...

The fan wasn't working when I took it in. I settled for everything else for now I guess. I didn't want them to bleed another 65 bucks/hr out of me. I'll see if I can figure it out. Summertime , no worries, I'll fix it by winter.

Thanks for your feedback everyone.

So in the end, it was the switch. I got lucky and found a wrecked 94 in Lacombe AB and they sold me the switch for 30 bucks. Works fine now.

Alot more fun driving in the rain with a window that goes up!

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Chiggles,

You obviously are really and truly from Calgary. No true Calgarian would admit to living in Edmonton permanently.....

Just my 2 cents but...I put in the ZX2 with Eibachs and had no troubles at all. I'm very happy with them so far.....been 6 months.

Dave I busted mine a couple of months back and the best replacement option I have found is to head to an industrial supply place and make them out of Heim joints. The mazda repalcements are stupidly expensive and there doesn't seem to be any other cars ones that fit on an MX3. A guy in the MX-6 foru...

The shop removed the old alarm remnants today, turns out the problem was in the main car wiring, but that the short was partly caused thru the alarm wirings interacting with the regular car wiring.

Ok, so the shop had it for 3 hours today and came back with it fixed. Apparently the problem was somewhere in the wiriing between the firewall and the ignition. The arced power window wires must have zapped a wire somewhere back up along the ignition power run. Their solution was to put in a new pow...

Thanks Grant, I've been to your website and am trying to use the diagrams as you say. However, I am sure you can tell from my posts, I will not be awarded the "electronics genius 2005" award this year. I am taking the car into a tech this morning, I'll give him the diagrams and then I'll p...
