Check around your oil pressure sensor on the front of the engine. If the seal is going you could be leaking out of there slightly and it would be hard to catch.

I was putting on a new shifter knob and gave it a bit too much force. It must have been close to letting go. Most airport gas stations in Canada offer up to 100 octane. Head up to the 'Shwa airport on Harmony Rd and they should have some.

Try a "Flitz ball" to make it an even sand job. (a polishing device that attaches to the end of a hand drill.) It saves your arm strength too. I used one on mine and it worked great.
