Re: Floatting Gas Gage
Yeah my car does this too. The light will come on anywhere from 1/6th of a tank left to E but I'm not sure wheather to trust the gage or the light. I would have thought they were connected but it makes sence to have 2 seperate sensors incase one goes out of wack. There must be some way to re-calibra...

Re: WD-40 VS BELT DRESSING
its actualy really easy to toighetn the belts cause there is a bolt that puts tention on a pully. follow the belts and you will see a pully with nothing atached to it but a long bolt. If you tighten it, it will put more pressure on the belt

Re: V12 anybody
I have seen duel engine cars before including a dule engine caddie with 2 northstar engines. My thought is it will jsut cost so much. Besides fule tank relocation (easly get a fuel cell) you would have to make a fire wall for the rear engine and find a way to cool it. The tranies would be some what ...

Re: HEELLLP BRAKES WENT WEIRD GOING FAST 103 OCTANE!
Ok so the big octane debate is out for all to put in their 2 cents. Here is what I was told by VP fuels. When your piston goes up on compression stroke the gas/air mix heats up (as do all gases when compressed) at a certain temp the air/fuel mix ignites. If this happens rather than the spark ignitin...

Re: Time for a new exhaust. What you got?
Well got it all on. Sorry no pictures yet, was too busy showing it off to wash it last night. The mechanic convinced me that the res was not needed and felt all those complaining about it had taken out their cat but he was wrong. My ears hurt when I accelerate thru 2000 to 3000 rpm. The trunk sort o...

Re: side exhaust
While I am sure it is do-able I am not sure if you would like the results. First off because the mx-3 was designed for a rear exit exhaust it has a grove in the floor boards that allows the exhaust not to hang down and steal ground clearance. Because you would have to go out of this groove to get to...

Re: Any Way To Get Colder Air Out Of Vents?
Yeah I get the same thing but I assumed that this was simply a problem of the vents and the piping caring the air to the inside had heated in the hot temps and they in turn heat the air.
I’m not sure where the air comes from but I guess it’s from right in front on the windshield

Re: car keeps on stalling
I had a charging problem with a car once, if it’s your alternator you will know because the lights and electronics will dim / slow down. Eventually the car was running poor (not all cylinders firing) and then it died, but a jump from another car would give me a few more Km before it died again. When...

Re: Time for a new exhaust. What you got?
Ok. Thanks to all those who replied. I have decided to go with 2 1/4" pipes, high-flow cat, Magnaflow race muffler. I will see if they can keep the resonator but there is a leak right in that area so it might have to loose it. All goes in on Thurs so i hope to get a few pictures of it that nigh...
