tach signal problem

I've hooked up msII but i'm not getting a tach signal. I've already tried to pick up the signal from the ecu pin 3E and at the distributor, the blue/yellow wire. These should both give me feed back but i'm getting zero. What could cause this and what should I try next cause i'm running out of ideas.

Trust me, it will cost a lot of time and $$$$.
I'm nearly finished with my setup and ones I get it running it will be worth all the effort.

Does anyone have an overview of the pin numbers the wires must be connected to. I have started to search in the manual but this will take some time. So if someone has this it will save me a lot of time, it will also be usefull for the FAQ section because a lot of people will use Megasquirt when the ...

the same as you, a clutched m62. I'm not running the redtops though. I will be running sr20 370cc injectors, these will be good for about 300hp and that's my goal. Is your Megasquirt configured to control any part of the M62 or will it be constantly engaged? Won't 370cc be a little too much for the...

Thanks. I use the headlightcovers when i'm at a show, not when I'm daily driving.
The hood isn't a carbon one, it's the original with the intake welded on, so hoodpins arent necessary
