It sounds to me like your alternator is going bad but just to make sure here is a simple DIY trick to test it. With the vehicle running, disconnect the negative cable from the battery. im not sure if that will cause high idle. have you reset your tps sensor?
if your pulling o2 sensor codes I would change them because chances are they are bad. You can reset your codes and then check them again after driving awhile and see if you still get the codes.

well with the k8 ECU I'm not positive on the type of gas mileage you would get but I do know that if u get the chipped k8 or the kl31 or kl36 ecu your mileage will improve alot. with my ZE and kl31 ecu in the city I get 18-25 mpg depending on how hard I drive it and highway I get 27-32mpg depending ...
