Re: intake question

I recommend removing it and plugging it up with something shorter. I plugged it up with a spray paint can top. Looks cooler and seems to be a more direct flow from the airflow sensor to the manifold.

Re: My new GS

The HKS intake for the GS is awesome. It supplies no restriction in the intake whatsoever. LOTS better than the stock intake box which holds lots of angles and bends to reduce air flow. I recommend the HKS. And the whole heat soak issue didn't affect me too much. I gain about the same HP with the PR...

Re: Exahust question

I just recently bought a universal performance muffler from Megan racing. Specs for the muffler are 2 1/4 input with a 4 inch tip. It sounds beautiful! A nice deep toned sound, no farting at all. Gained me a decent amount of torque and HP and is not too loud. Just perfect with a custom cat back of 2...

gauges and such

I've been searching around for after market gauges lately and am looking for those cool white faced ones but have only seen the gauges for the inline 4 mx3's. They don't redline at 7000 RPM obviously and am wondering if they even make some for the V6 model which I own. Is there a company that distri...

Custom exhausts

I own a 92 GS and am wondering what size the piping is from the cat back on the stock exhaust. I am about to buy a Megan muffler and am going to get it welded and all but I don't know if I should upgrade the pipe size or not. I am looking for performance obviously. So should I keep the stock piping ...

sudden shaking at take off

I have to say. I have been doing a little bit of spirited driving lately but this has never happened before. Now whenever I let out the clutch at a low rpm my car slightly shakes. But as the rpm go up, it stops. I think it is my clutch cause i have been doing stand stills and peel outs a lot lately ...

where is the fuel filter located?

Hi! I just recently purchased a fuel filter for my 93 mx3 gs v6 1.8L. I need to know specifically where the old one is so I can put it. Also if I need to install it from the bottom.

Where is Knock sensor located?

I just recently ran a diagnostics because my motor was idling funny when I was at a stop with the clutch in and in first gear. The RPM goes up and down from 900-1500 every second. The diagnostics computer said I needed a new knock sensor. I have a 93 1.8 L MX-3. Please tell me if it is the knock sen...
