Or you can do what most OBD2 owners do. Swap the KLZE, use the K8 ECU, and use the KL02 VAF. It might not be optimal, but it will run fine, and still make plenty more power than the stock K8 engine.

Probably the axle extension shaft as stated. Need to pull the passenger axle and take the extention into a machine shop to have the new bearing pressed in.

I agree. Mine makes the more power when it's floating between 13.5-14 than when it's between 13-13.5 or even lower.

It's not just a 12pt 12mm , it's a 12 pt STAR head socket you need. You'll need to go to a hard core tool store like Sears/Craftsman to find it.

Then, if you ever have to take the crank girdle off the bottom end, you'll need a 10mm STAR socket. FYI

Kl02 on the stock ecu?

it was my understanding that would not work.
I've been doing it two years straight thus far.

That's just surface rust. A little POR15 should cover that up and stop the rust just fine.

I've got H&R, and they look like that some times, but I think it may just be the struts or something. But they're not that old on my car as I installed them only about a year ago, and they sometimes look like that since new. So can you measure for me? I'm curious to see. Thanks. I don't have my...

Mazdaspeed it your ONLY option for stronger than stock mounts for MX3. Either use Urethane caulk in your stock mounts, or get the Mazdaspeeds from somewhere.

Cam belt tensioner seemed a little weak but not letting the belt be slack. It shouldn't be weak at all. It takes literally HUNDREDS of pounds to compress it. If you stood a 300 lb man on top of the hydraulic tensioner, it wouldn't move a BIT. the only way I can compress it without bringing it to a ...

Is it cranking at full speed? If the battery is dying, or something is wonky with the power/starter, you will read very low compression. You need the speed of a healthy starter to get proper compression numbers.
