Re: [GI] Lexan hatch windows for real.

I'll be heading over to a local plastics manufacturer here in Toronto on Friday( Laird Plastics). Hopefully they have a plycarb with tint in stock. My plan is to pick up a thin sheet; using cardboard, cut out a template and rivet it on a CF hatch. Seems like the quickest and cheapest alternative. I'...

Re: EZ_4_FUN's '95 GS ZE Turbo Setup *REVISITED*

Today, I was finally able to mock up the last bends on the cold side leading into the I/C. Everything looks and fits great, the MX-3 may all of the sudden experience a resurgence, a second wind if you may. (no pun intended. ) http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2299/2081/5746040168_lar...

Re: EZ_4_FUN's '95 GS ZE Turbo Setup *REVISITED*

UPDATE! June 6, 2009; approximately 8 months since the first build up and initial testing. She survived another winter and has once again gone under the knife. :welder: I'm not sure i mentioned it or not but in the original setup, I had a leading edge on the hotpipes that was quite low. I only notic...

Re: WHO CAN TUNE MS for cash !!!FAST!!!

Hawkesbury?? Sounds like an interesting place. :) MS is not an easy DIY despite what you hear. I had a heck of a time to get mine running properly. Does your car start at all? Are you using a wideband O2? What distributor are you using? MSD w/ external coil? what version of MS? I'll try to help you ...

Re: [GI] Lexan hatch windows

I was speaking with my guys and I'm pretty sure I can get these made through my shop here. ( same place we did the Hatch)

The bad part is that I can't justify the costs with only the 10 presold hatches.... Having said that, not all 10 will want a Polycarb window..

Did you get your problems solved?

Is there a difference in CV axles w or w/o ABS?

Re: [GI] CARBON FIBER HATCH BB

If your only making one, then the $600 pricetag is worth it. IT appears that it might be worth the investment if fowljesse plans on making several of these. I've been looking at the heater blankets and they do reach up to 400 deg F so it can do the job but they do cost $180 and you would need 2 or 3...

Re: [GI] CARBON FIBER HATCH BB

Yes and no. The difference in radius will be insignificant. It can be dealt with when trimming it down to size. Your right about leaving an imprint; I thought about that, perhaps you can use some sort of wax paper that won't burn or something between the glass and the heat blankets. I'm not sure wha...

Re: [GI] CARBON FIBER HATCH BB

We got the hatches! They are just fine :D Mine had a small scratch on the underside, and the hood was rubbed a little. We tried all day to bend the Poly. I'm going to find a place that has a huge oven to do it. I thought about doing this myself using welders "heater blankets" on top of th...
