Offical Spyder MX3 Halo Projector headlight (Black / Chrome)

Post by ray carpart4u »

After the gauge interest post, it hasn't been update for a while. A lot of MX3 owners are very exciting about the headlight but a lot of you guys are disappointed because there were no update until today. You guys do not have to be disappointed anymore, it is not a scam. The MX3 Halo projector is now in stock!!! ( Black or chrome ). Let me introduce myself a little bit before the information about the headlight. My name is Ray and i am one of John's (spyderauto) partner, been working in this industry for several years and have a lot of joy of doing this. I am a Mazda fans as well, i have an Rx8 and proud to drive my Mazda everywhere. Back to the topic, here is the projector which come in black or chrome, we test fitted in one of our local MX3 owners and everything works great, they are HID system compatible (H1) and come with both Halo rings and LEDs. Here is some pictures and we are going to see how many people are interested in the product and i will set up a group buy with the admin when we got some MX3 owners interested. Thanks for looking, feel free to ask me any questions if needed.

PRICING: for now 230 shipped for black, 220 shipped for chrome, 50 more dollars in an additional HID kit. But i would say the more people interested in purchase, i will have a lower price in the group buy for sure.

Are they basically plug-and-play? what about us suckers who have mandatory Daytime Running Lights?

it is plug and play, only need to splice some wires for the halo and leds. i think the daytime running light will be eliminated. If you feel it is something you might need, i will try to figure it out. Thanks for addressing this

I think the LEDs or the halos would be best suited to be used as the DRLs...just need to figure out the wiring on it...

I need answers first.

Will it run properly with my daytime running lights? Is it wired with a factory connector or is it just an open pigtail? If I choose the HID option how will that be wired?

I will definitely buy a set if they are well sorted out electrically.
