Re: Mileage Poll ???
Final mileage count is about 135,200. I was really hoping to get 200k miles on it, but that's not gonna happen. I miss the MX-3.

Might be parting out MX-3, need some prices first
Hey guys, as many of you all know, I was in a wreck Monday 8/8/01 and more than likely totalled the MX-3. (pictures at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Alt-Tab in the files or photos section)
I haven't heard word from the ins...

Re: Exhaust Shopping
If you have the V6, you might consider the straight pipe. Just have the LOCAL muffler shop cut out your resonator, and voila! If you don't like it, you can always pick from other options mufflerwise later. That's how I decided I liked mine.
I wouldn't recommed it on a 4cyl though, you'll just get ...

Wrecked my MX-3
Alright, guys, as you can see by my subject, the unthinkable happened. I was driving along in the right lane, when somebody turned across my lane into a parking lot. He had to either be stopped, or barely moving. (WHY?!?!?) I hit them pretty much broadside (on his passenger side) and completely demo...

Re: Car Audio prices
I got a 12" Pioneer TSW302-C sub and box from a friend for $45, an American Legacy Series II 500w amp for $100, and wires, fuses, etc. ended up making the total cost a little under $200. My brother has 2 Alpine 12"s with a 600w amp and there's not really much of a difference. He's got his ...

Re: Paint Job!?!
Definately true. The guy who did mine was working independently (friend of my cousin.) He used to be the master painter at a local body shop, and worked at several other places around town.
When he did my paint, he took all the emblems and trim off, and did a really good job. The car was filled an...

Re: Dry ice dent removal..
Found this in the archives:
You could try dry ice and a heat gun. Heat the area with a heat gun then take a small piece of dry ice on the tip of a stick and just touch the center of the dent from a second. should hear a little pop as the sheet metal suddenly shrinks popping the dent out. Works wel...

Re: totaled my Camaro..need new car HELP!
I bought my 92 GS about a year and a half ago with a spotless interior and almost perfect exterior (spoiler faded and front bumper patched incorrectly) and only one ding in the driver's side quarter panel. Mileage was 121,000 and I paid $3700 for it after taxes and everything. Now it's got almost 13...

Re: Parting out '92 MX-3 GS
Corksport has the rear mud guards, advertising prices from $30-60, prepainted, but I got white ones for $22 I think. My body guy is going to paint them anyway.
My body guy also ordered the side GS logos, since they had to be taken off when I got repainted, but I don't know how much they were. I th...

Haha David, too bad your copy of WinXP has to be activated. The copy I have doesn't. :D But before you know it, Mr. Postman will have you a brand new copy of Windows 2000 Professional. (Hmm, wonder where that came from? )
Let's see, I've got Win95, Win98, Win2k, WinXP, RedHat 5.2, 6.2, 7.0....
