Re: Turbo on engine over 100k km
sure as long as you dont beat on it all the time and make sure everything is in working order. Your best bet would be to tear it all down and have it rebuilt stronger if you plan to turbocharge it.

Re: Automatic Vs 5 speed manual....
Its not really necessary to go with an auto with a S/C since it doesnt loose boost when you get off the gas. Well actually it depends on what kind of S/C you have since if its centrifigal then its basically a belt driven turbo and then you will have lag and have to build boost back up just like with...

Re: Automatic Vs 5 speed manual....
and with forced induction, such as a turbo, the automatic will be faster since you never take your foot off the gas and always keep the boost built up between shits.

Re: 1.6 turbo
David, where did you find those compressor maps for the Mitsu turbo? I am trying to find some for the small and big 16G, 17C, 18G, 19C, and 20G. I really want to find the maps for the 12A and 14G though.

Re: horse on my 92 1.6
40-50hp gains? Are you on crack? I mean seriously a full exhaust and intake wont make 40 let alone 50hp. Thats like adding a shot of "Nawz" to your car or a small turbo.

Re: Supercharger Electronic Turbo Kit... Does it work?
Heres the funny thing guys, IT DOESNT CREATE ANY BOOST..... its just an electric fan so all it does is accelerate the air a little, there is no compressor on that piece of s--- to make any boost. Its not a supercharger or a turbo or anything like those at all.
