Sounds pretty right on. A lot of people think that problems like these are linked to weird crap, but it has usually been in my experience an issue with something in between the distributor and the engine itself; I.E. cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs.

Help with a possible clutch problem

Ok, so I just had a good, or at least I thought good, local shop install a trans from a junkyard with about 85,000 miles on it, and since I had the trans installed I went ahead and had them clutch it too. Well, the problem is, for the first few minutes of driving it acts fine....then, after a while,...

Do a compression/vaccuum check. If both are good, then make sure you start using a very high quality oil when you turbocharge and you should be fine. If your compression is low, boost will kill the motor, regardless of the tune. So make sure you do that first.

My 94' 4cyl engine bay! http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/1/web/2593000-2593999/2593302_5_full.jpg I was starting to think I was the only person left on this site with no KLZE or B6T/BPT. Thank God! Jk. Also, for my whining, I will post pics of my engine bay. I just made a cold air intake...

Well to answer your original question, any production automobile ever made can be turbocharged. Any. Every last one of them. With some, it's just a lot harder. I know, you said "duh"...I got that. As far as where to get the actual parts for your turbo setup, I am not sure of that, but I do...

Yea. When you find that transmission, let me know, because I will kill you in your sleep for it.

WTB Stock air inlet hose.

I want the stock air inlet hose for a DOHC I4 (94+). You know, the one between the Airbox/MAF and throttle body?
If anyone has one that's not cracked at all, I will buy. Thx.

Oh, you guys are forgetting that Hondas come stock with carbon-fiber EVERYTHING. The only reason they even weigh a little over 2000 lbs is because they put a big huge weight under the floorboard.
You know, because otherwise, the 400 HP V-Tec would just be completely unfair.

For sure. Cavaliers blow, and are a pretty good comparison.
Au contrare, my MX3, which I bought for 600$, is one of the most satisfactory and reliable cars I have owned to date ^_^.

Well, I respect your opinion, although I am in love with my MX3 personally. I do have to question one thing, though. If you are worried about either speed or reliability, why in the WORLD would you say that the RX-7 is the only Mazda you'd like? If you get one of the non-turbo models, they are gener...

I am gonna get raped for saying this, but honestly, the muffler choice doesn't make that much of a horsepower difference. It's mostly the rest of the exhaust that matters. So if you want to get huge pipes, do it and get a nice, quiet, but still performance-oriented muffler. Even the non straight thr...

Dang, bad deal. :( Having a turbo kit not arrive on time must be one of the most depressing things ever. FWIW, I have a 95 Ford probe with an aftermarket turbo kit that mounts the turbo next to the disty. Just be sure...REALLY...to put a turbo heat shield kit of some kind on the turbo. I am stupid, ...

A really noticeable and easy...and free, usually...horsepower gain that a lot of people don't think of is advancing ignition timing. If you do this, do it by, at most, about 7 degrees, and you will have to start using premium fuel. If you do this in conjunction with a sweet intake/exhaust, you will ...
