Thats distracting and will fall under the same category as underglow which
is illegal here while the car is in motion.

Re: Exhaust Flange Gasket
The exhaust gasket on the muffler to the pipe behind the rear tire calls
for a donut type gasket that gets mashed in, like this one here:

Is that what you mean?

Re: Mi|<e's 94 Blue GS
Found the Auto Glym at Canadian Tire. As for the headlights all I did was apply it
with a shop towel and swirl by hand as per the instructions.
I figured since the lip and flaps just get smoked with rocks anyway might as well try
something new, has anyone used undercoating on them before?

Re: Mi|<e's 94 Blue GS
Also did the headlights with some lens restorer, ive done it with plastic polish and a dremel before - this stuff is the way to go. Took all of 5 minutes for both headlights: http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r298/mikefoo/IMAG0098.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r298/mikefoo/IMAG0095.jpg htt...

Re: Mi|<e's 94 Blue GS
Yeah those ports were ridiculous clean, not sure what kind of gas was being used. Brake dust is horrible to clean off rims, but I found a neat product at the local auto parts store for just the job. The before and after are about 3 minutes apart with some minimal agitation with a toothbrush: http://...

Re: Mi|<e's 94 Blue GS
Its a loaded GS with everything. Had to replace the distributor and hopefully it wont die on me again. Also did the mudflaps and front lip in a european undercoating for a textured look to try something different. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r298/mikefoo/IMAG0092.jpg http://i147.photobucket.c...

Re: 94 GS firing order
So the cap firing order was absolutely correct as per what Ryan said.
I put in a reman distributor and it fired right up and runs great. Just
need to time the thing and set the idle as its a bit high.

Re: 94 GS firing order
The whole unit is old with a new cap and rotor. I disassembled it and it was indeed really rusty inside, did the best I could to clean it up and have 1.2 ohms on the 3 pin A to B (0.49-0.73 in service manual specs) and 19.3k ohms on the primary (20-31k ohms spec) so those seem to be okay. As per the...
