I have a B5-ZE, it run's a cast exhaust manifold, like the one you would find on a 1.8 SOHC/1.6 DOHC/1.8 DOHC engine. But B6 manifolds bolt to the B5 head. Looks like a worn out alternator problem to me...

Centrifugal S/C are belt driven T/C... There is too many variables on this topic, do what you like.

Actually, it's a 1% gain for each 10F degree drop. I agree that on 100 hp 4 cyl. 1%=1hp

I know that I bolted the downpipe of a 91 Mazda Protegé GT (1.8 dohc) to my exhaust manifold. So I think it could fit. From there you can use all from the Protegé. I don't know if you have protegés in uk, so I hope this will help.

The b5 head as you say... is the same as your B6 head. I'd say pop-up your valve cover and check on the cams whats written there. If it still says B5 then you know you have a B5 head.
