Re: [FS] '94 GS

nICE. It is so close to my car I want to buy it lol. GL with the sale and I hope you get your price, altough a tad steep for a 16 year old car (IMO). Maybe try selling it on your local SCCA forum. I hear that is a good place to sell set-up cars since a racer understands the time and effort and most ...

Re: Egr Delete plate

The EGR plate should be oval in shape and have two bolts, on opposite ends. Then, yes, you are going to have to run the collant line straight to the TB. You will also have to plug up the sopt where the EGR goes into the exhaust. The block-off plate does not need to be a allen type screw and there do...

Re: Having some odd troubles, can anyone advise?

Before you check the IAC, since it is harder to check, someone above mentioned checking the Neutral Switch on the trans, but didn't give you the part name to look for. It adjusts idle based on the clutch poition (is an on/off swtich, or in electrical terms a open/closed switch) and helps with the de...

Re: help with clutch/brake pedal

I've done two, but do not remember that being an issue at all. What exactly is your issue and I'll take a look at the manual to see if I can remember.

Re: DOOR panels!!!!!

I think the issue they might not want to challange is that vinyl can and will usually shrink and pull away at the edges. Why not jsut get some new fabric put in there instead. or do like Mutt said and get a good shop who isn't scared of the slightly more difficult...

Re: Targa Top MX-3?

I dunno about the amount of work, but I think it would look super F-ing awesome. If it were me I would try to buy a car with T-tops so I could do some good research and then buy a spare MX roof to cut and weld on. I think the MX is a funny candidate though b/c it has the upper window trim on the doo...

Re: Is my idle too low

Stock idle for a manual K series motor is 750-1000 RPM (when the motor is warm, would be a tad higher when cold) so you are a tad low. Those revs keep the oil pressure decent so there is still some oil flow at idle.

Re: Preparing for HLA, FGS, and VC gasket service

Don't forget to take the new friction gears ove to your Kl when you change the motor. Don't blame you on waiting for a Kl to get SLAs... I should really get SLAs in my ZE, but it is more work and I would rather mess with something that makes it faster. GL.

Re: Slow window, can I oil them?

Other than Sleeper's reply I would suggest replacing the channel and belt-line seals, they loose the felt from friction of the window rubbing all the time. Thus you are left with rubber grabbing the window while it goes up and down slowing its progress. I greased mine a few times before giving up an...
