Re: won't start after changing distrbutor cap and rotor
^^^ If the rotor isn't on the same way it won't run it's very touchy that way. Get a buddy to try turning it to differnt spots while you try and start it. See what happens from there. Should always mark where they were before changing.

Wow that's amazing only a broken leg. Although I find it hard to belive 90kph did that. I'm guessing speed was quite a large factor here.

Re: MX5 Leather seat to Mx3???
I'm sure it's possible might take a little improvising but I think you can put almost any seats into anything. Just get the mx-5 rails with the seats and fit them custom of need be.
Would look sharp I think post up some pictures if you do it would like to see how they turn out.

Re: Shifter mounted manual idle/ cruise control
Why don't you try side stepping. It's mostly a drag shifting technique but would work for what your explaining. You put just the side of you foot on the clutch and let it slide off the side so it kinda pops the clutch while you quickly shift at the same time. The clutch isn't depressed for more than...

Re: Tollis's 92 GS worklog
Sorry no pics quite yet. All pics were on my phone and the cable for the computer was a victim of my dog. Had a small oil leak that I found to be a rusted through oil pan (nonvisible hole) so I began the process of taking the pan off. While I had the strut brace off it's been sandblasted and painted...

Re: Carbon Fiber hood doesn't seem to fit properly
Hood pins are safer than the latch hence the reason there used on race cars. If a latch goes out the hood flys up prob smashes the windshield if you on the highway it's a good chance you not gonna like the ending. With pins you've got 2 points where it's secured one breaks you've got another to hold...

Lol well a rotary isn't a V anything cause it's not a V type engine.
What a rotary is is simply badass. Nuff said
