Gas tank drain plug?

Post by Tollis »

The tank on my new to me mx3 has a bolt in it looks te same ad a oil drain plug.
Is this stock I've never seen one before. It's leaking slighty not dripping just wet around it so I need to fix it just wondering.

Should I just thread tape the bolt or use some sealant or what.

I checked search already and nothing

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

teflon tape may not hold up to the fuel. Look for a new plug/washer combo
