WTB: KLDE ecu and damaged front lip
I'm looking for an OBDI KLDE ecu and ideally the driver's side half of a GS front lip since mine broke almost cleanly in half. I have a chippable K801 ecu to trade if someone is interested.

Re: injectors...
It sounds like your timing is still a little bit off, you can adjust your distributor to compensate a bit and if it still idles too low, there's an idle adjust screw on top of the throttlebody. I had the same problem when I did a bp swap last year.

Re: BP-DE and G-series into RS, use K clutch and pressure plate?
Basically you need to use the flywheel that matches the trans. If you stuck with the b6 trans, you'd use the b6 flywheel on the bp, g series trans from the escort gt, you use a bp flywheel. You cant use the b6 fuel rail on a bp but a little bit of modding I'm pretty sure you can use a b8 fuel rail w...

Quick KL Swap question
Well, after searching for the last few days with no luck, I thought I'd just go ahead and ask. I have a 93 GS and there's a junkyard nearby that has 3 v6 626s but 2 are from 96 and 1 is from 97 which should make them obdII. I can get whatever motor I want for $300 or the whole wiring harness, ecu an...

Re: Steering lock/Ignition problems
I was using as much force as I could on the wheel and turning the key, but now the key has started to split. There should be a way to disable the steering lock without the key though.

Steering lock/Ignition problems
Hey guys,
I have a 93 GS and I cant get the key to turn in the ignition because of the steering lock. My only key is getting weak and bent and since I dont wanna take the chance of it breaking, I was wondering if there is a way to disable the steering lock easily?

Re: HELP! IGNITION IS STUCK!!
Is the key a master key for your car? If it is, chances are you bent the key while trying it on frozen locks. Either try another key if you have one or try to get another one made. I tried to bend one back after the same thing happened and it broke, at least i had a spare though.

Re: Speedometer remembers old life as toothpick, help!
Your speedometer cable is getting ready to go, for a 92 it will be a mechanical cable. One out of either an mx-3 or 323 should work without any trouble. Technically, you dont have to pull the cluster to replace it, if you can get your hand up high enough from underneath the dash to undo the clip hol...

Re: B6 motor - reallllly loud ticking suddenly
The B6 ticks loud usually when they are warming up and sounds like you got a spot of dirt in one of your hla's. You can pull them out and spray them out with compressed air or go to a GM dealer and get a bottle of EOS (engine oil supplement) or seafoam. It'll clean the hla's and after 1000 miles or ...
