Re: Who's Using The EGR On Their ZE?
Oh well there's two fat pipes coming out, size of fuel lines from it. Also one little vaccuum hose. Where do all those go? I think they went to the old TB but the new TB has no ports for that.

Re: Cruved neck KLZE vacuum issues
Got any pics? If you post pics of some of the lines you are having trouble with, I might be able to help out.

Re: Who's Using The EGR On Their ZE?
Sorry to bump but I got a KLZE straight neck, my dad put the EGR on because he didn't know and transferred from old engine. Is it ok for me to just plug up the lines coming out of it? I don't need to pass any emission tests.

Thanks poppsy. But do you reckon you could take any new high res pics of around the throttle body, air filter side?
Does anyone else want to comment on some of the pics I showed?

Re: Suspension Boots + Tie rod ends
Thanks, yeah I just searched on Rock Auto and the Tie Rod ends are the same part for the MX-3 and 323. I might try and ask locally for a 323 tie rod end as the 323 is quite common.
I'll probably do the same for the suspension boot too.

Re: how far these cars go?
I pumped out 232,000kms (130K+ miles) on my 30x (MX-3). Still running, then I took it out to put a ZE in lol.
I have an MX-6 as well. Has 198,000 on it (120K miles). Feels beautiful to drive! I hope it lasts another 200,000![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Suspension Boots + Tie rod ends
Hi, I'm doing a ZE swap but need a couple parts before I can complete the swap. I am changing my suspension to Koni specials. Now I'm wondering if I should get some new boots, my old ones are screwed. Here in Australia it seems to be hard + expensive to get Eunos 30x (MX-3) parts. So I was looking a...

Re: KLZE'ing my 30x - Have got the engine in need a little help
Ok there's so many different pipes and stuff.... but I'm slowly figuring some stuff out. Found out some more plug locations but I want to confirm here too. First up this is what I think is the break booster vacuum port. It's on the other side compared to the K8 IM. http://www.momentuminternet.com.au...

Re: KLZE'ing my 30x - Have got the engine in need a little help
Thanks guys, yeah there is a port on the other side of the IM that is the same size, I am assuming it's for the brake booster as well. My ZE does come with it's own TB. Just not on yet. There are some vacuum lines near the TB and IM that don't have a place to go. I will post some pics up after work ...

Re: KLZE'ing my 30x - Have got the engine in need a little help
Hey in your thread you used the K8 throttle body right? I am trying to use the ZE throttle body but it's kind of not got the same amount of pipes and whatnot coming out.
Do people just use their K8 TBs? Or am I just tripping out and you can use the ZE TB?

Re: KLZE'ing my 30x - Have got the engine in need a little help
Thanks mate, will check out your pics. And yes it's for the brake booster I think. Mine is on the other side tho as I am right hand drive. If you could get some high res pics for me that would be great. I might have to PM you for some more stuff though hehe. Some more vacuum lines and whatnot are ki...

KLZE'ing my 30x - Have got the engine in need a little help
Hi guys, take a look at the pics below and you can see I have put a straight neck ZE into my Eunos 30x (right hand drive mx3). All is going ok so far but I have a couple issues with the straight neck manifold. There's a few vacuum lines and whatnot on the K8 IM that are different or simply just not ...

Re: Axle Shaft Removal
Sorry to bump the old thread. I just got mine off today. Took me and my dad about 30 mins to get both off. We just ground them out kind of, and jumped on our 33-34mm? wrench. Came off. Wrecked the threads but who cares I got all new driveshafts anyways!

Re: Guess the milage of this K series V6 engine
Well you gave a fairly large range there lol. 225-300 :P Most other ppl were way off.... 350,000kms etc surely it'd look way worse than that! Now I only had my K8 for about 20,000kms and changed the oil a good 4 times in that period with high quality stuff, also used a oil flush product too once. I ...

Re: Guess the milage of this K series V6 engine
Well here's the answer: Around 140,000 miles. 232,000kms. It's my K8. Is coming out for my ZE. I wonder what you guys would think my ZE had done lol. It looked darker. Top of the valve cover on the ZE was better than the K8 though. I also noticed my ZE had no trouble when I took the valve cover off....
