This MX-6 engine is (out of any doubts) a KF-ZE, 160HP version.
The KF-ZE had K8 heads and stroke, just bigger pistons.

Check the ECU code, VAF code and cams numbers and if you can tell them to me with exactitude, i will put these infos in a folder for future reference.

For the intake, i would recommend keeping the K8 one with it's injectors.

Swap the 626 coil packs and remove the K8 disty.

Swap 626 crank pulley and sensor.

The rest is just basic plumbing, and a K8 in a 626 is like a FS in it !

Try gaskets from FelPro.

Check for liquids (water/oil) in spark plugs holes.

Check motor/harness ground points and DO NOT ground harnesses on valve covers. (gaskets insulates from the block)

Had a KL which was leaking from there. Took a K8 oil cooler and put on it. The K8 one has fewer plates , but i assumed that it was supposed to do the job on such a motor, K8 or KL.

Try to open it like the guy said, i didn't think about this before buying another one.
