custom intake = more noise??

hey guys i just finished making my own custom cold air intake. is it normal to be making a "growling" sound when accelerating?? also, for those who have made an intake... what did you do with that little tiny hose that connects to the airbox (about 1/8")?

hey fuzzy... if you are planning on changing your tranny oil, just remember that you need a long tube. because what you have to do is stick the tube in the transmition oil filling hole then slowly squeeze the oil in... it takes a good 30 minutes to get 3 quarts in.

I used 80W-90 gear oil, and for a 92 manuel it is 2.9 quarts.

i won a pair off eBay as well. $65 was sure a good deal if you ask me. anyway i am putting them on soon, so i will keep you all updated. hey does anyone know if a camber kit is needed after installing them?

you aren't going to screw anything up by getting bigger rims. here's why... if you get bigger rims, you get smaller tires meaning that the diameter stays the same. This means that the speedometer will stay the same, and the tires won't rub or anything...

how hard getting in and out of gear are we talking fuzzy? are you saying you actually have to REALLY force the stick in and out or is it just a little hesitation? heres why... lately ive been noticing a tiny bit of hesitation between some of the gears, but i figure that it is nothing really to worry...

hey i did the same thing as barry except i did mine with black vinyl. you can easily find it at a sign shop for less than $5. the hardest part is stretching the vinyl so that it doesn't leave any wrinkles or bubbles. anyway... have you guys ever seen that carbon fiber looking vinyl made by dashwood?...
