custom intake = more noise??

Post by mattster »

hey guys i just finished making my own custom cold air intake. is it normal to be making a "growling" sound when accelerating?? also, for those who have made an intake... what did you do with that little tiny hose that connects to the airbox (about 1/8")?

That vacume hose is called a "breather" hose, you are supposed to get a breather filter and plug it up with a breather filter. I did mine like that, cuz all the techs said you're supposed to.
