Insurance spam aside, DE sounds like what you need. And yea, junkyards anymore just kinda make it up as they go along.

Re: my newest issue in a long line...

Youre right on the resistor thing... Well generally. Not too sure on these. Youll likely have to trace back the wiring from fuse block and figure out whats up. You checked the fuse right?

Captchas are beautiful. Annoying as hell but beautiful.

I vouch for the forum related question.

Re: Fast and Furious 5 (Fast 5)

I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9....

I for one can vouch for the weight of that hatch. With the SOHC, night and day. But the extra wind and broken glass made me deem it an unnecessary "upgrade" (vandalism... )

Re: engine swap please help

I would absolutely LOVE to see a duratec running in this chassis as a bolt in. xD Although it would be pretty beast. On the other hand, WHY IN GODS NAME WOULD YOU WANT A VULCAN 3.0L? While you're at it you should contemplate the possibility of popping in a Vega motor? :welder: Might wanna get to wor...

Noone is trying to break your balls here man. What it comes down to is that many of the people here started out without this info and did it themselves and documented it here for your viewing pleasure, or came here to find these answers and researched. To undertake a project of this caliber you shou...

Re: my newest issue in a long line...

Since it only happens at cold start, could it be oil in the intake manifold?

Wait, I suppose thats covered since you mentioned pcv.

On another note, x2 on pulley alignment. Had an eclipse that would snag the PS/AC belt if I hit second kind of hard because the PS pump was off a little.

Re: Distributor woes

Ok. So its alive again. The old vaf was dead and keeping it from starting at all. The rx7 vaf being untuned was flooding the cylinders. After pulling the plugs and bumping the starter, plus a quick tune, it fired right up. The coolant gauge was dancing because the temp sensor it links to has a tab t...

Re: Distributor woes

hmmm.... Yea because it still isnt even starting today. The kicker is, the fuel pump kicks on and last I checked I had spark at the plugs. sometimes it seems to hit a little but not enough to fire up.I've tried the terminals but I suppose another twist wouldnt hurt. As a side note though, if the fan...

Re: Distributor woes

I figured that was the case, but I've found that its connector is wired to a dash switch and when flipped the fan comes on, so the ecu must be reading it.....
