Air Snorkel leakage

I read today that a leak in the air snorkel can cause stalling while de-celerating and hard starting. I am assuming the air snorkel is the rubber hose from the air filter housing to the TB, is that correct and any comments?

Thanks guys, how about the revving?

Any ideas on the revving to 3000 rpm, then back to normal?

Help - Engine stalls after 10 minutes driving

Hi, I am ready to burn my MX-3 (just kidding) I changed out the engine a while back for another stock engine, 1992 V-6, standard MX-3, After a while the engine on its own would rev up to 3000 rpm, and stay there for several minutes, now the car shuts down after 10 to 15 minutes driving, and will not...

Engine reving and hard starts

My Mazda has been recently going down hill, but hopefully it is just a failed sensor. It started occassionally when stopped, the engine would rev up to 22 to 25 hundred rpm on its own for a few minutes then go down to normal. Along with this the car would start hard shortly after this happens. Latel...

No I installed my own engine, thats not going to be an issue, just wanted to make sure the universal sensors will work ok, and do they come with instructions on which wire goes to which contact?

O2 Sensors

I am replacing my O2 sensors and was surprised to see the cost of the original ones, I noted several universal O2 sensors, with two to four wires and you attach the connectors, are these recommended or has anyone used them?

Check Engine Light - On Over 100 After 20 Minutes

My check engine light comes on after driving 20 minutes over 100 knm/hr or so. If I accelerate or decellerate just a bit it goes out for a while but then comes back on under steady throttle, any suggestions?

Wreckers

As previously posted DOM's east of Ajax has at least 8 or so kicking around, with various parts removed from each, I have visited many times but not since last August. Although when I called yesterday they said they had no hoods, and last year they had 5 or 6, so either they do not keep the computer...

Sorry

Sorry, a teal hood, or was it missing, I guess I could take a black one as well, I just do not want it to be obvious that its not original.

Auto Wreckers

I posted this in the General Section before I noticed there was a TO one, is there any good wreckers with a decent selection of MX-3's in or West of TO, maybe towards Niagra? I am familiar with most places between Belleville and Ajax. I am looking for some body parts, preferably teal.

No Insurance

As I am in law enforcement I can say with no doubt in Ontario it is a $5000 fine if you are found without insurance and you do not show up in court with a good sob story for the JP. If you do and you cry hard enough (no joke) they knock it down to as little as $500, but wait till your insurance comp...

My ABS

I have ABS however it is broken right now, however as posted above there is a computer under the drivers seat and the ABS Hydraulic pump under the battery. All dashes have the ABS light, regardless if the car has ABS or not, and the lights stay off when its broken if you unplug the computer under th...

Niagra - Toronto Area Wreckers

Hi people, I am in the Trenton area and was wondering if anyone knew of a wrecker that had a large amount of MX-3's. I am familiar with most from Belleville to Ajax but nothing on the other side, I am looking for some Teal body parts.
