unlucky mate, what age/mileage is your car?

Is the immobiliser the CEL light? (the key one)

I just went to ignition, without jumpering my TEN and GND and I get no 'immobiliser' light on, so I guess this is the CEL ?

Yeah I took those pics myself.. the FAQ had no pictures so I asked the admins and the like to stick those in there, as I really got frustrated not being able to do a simple code-pull on the ECU. (going to do that in a few minutes)

hopefully it'll help others out there who dont have labels on ...

I dont know how the handbrake pivots or goes up and down,

but to me it simply sounds like it needs tightening somewhere, so it doesn't move as freely.
