The guy who owned the car before me, he always drove the car below 60 mph, because he didn't know why the car shook above that speed. He only owned it for 6 months, and during that time, bought new tires. Little did he know all he needed to do was get his wheels balanced. So he was driving around li...

Tunes, thanks for replying, you always help me out, :D . Yeah, I'd never been to this mechanic before. I don't know a good place to go where I live, so I try out different places. (I live in Deerfield Beach, FL, if anyone knows a good mechanic :D ) Every place I've been to they've tried to rip me of...

Alignment?

Ok, I hope I am posting this in the right area. This may be a stupid question, but when I first bought my MX3 2.5 months ago, it shook when I hit about 60mph. But it was perfectly aligned. It didn't drift or anything when I would let go of the steering wheel. I got my wheels balanced, because of the...

Yeah, well in all honesty my friend and I aren't too good of friends anymore. And I thought it was a sh*tty thing to do which is why I called him a jerk in the beginning. I look back on it and laugh now, but it's pretty nasty. I didn't think about how my friend might make ME seem as a person. Don't ...

Alright, I have a digusting story about Wendy's chili. So if you like their chili and want to continue eating it, don't read the rest of this. Ok, so a good friend of mine used to work at Wendys. And his boss was a complete jerk, and well, my friend had to be a jerk too in order to have done this. B...

When I bought my MX3, it had the ugly chrome lining. Yeah, it's got a kind of glue underneath, and when I pulled mine off, they came off fairly easy, but left alot of that sticky glue behind. Also there was alot of dirt and even a little bit of rust on the paint from moisture getting in there. I got...

New gas tank? When you put the sending unit into the new gas tank did you replace the seal that goes around the sending unit where it goes into the tank? Granted I havent seen this for myself on the MX-3 yet .. but I was under the impression that this is inside the car under the backseat somewhere?...

Maybe you should have tires like the Flinstones had. Just round chunks of rock. Maybe they'd be cheaper than what you're looking for now. Could probably fasten some of those plastic spinner hubcaps on there too. ROTFLMAO  Took the words right out of my mouth!! Way too funny  You would f...

I seem to have that problem also. Doesn't happen all the time for me though, like a few times every couple of weeks. I guess I never gave it much thought since it's done that to me with other cars I've owned. I don't have any advice but just thought I'd let you know we're in the same boat. Good luck...

I've had to replace a few CV joints, and in my experience, I only got that clicking noise when I turned. So yeah, I'm with 93SOHC on this one.

Around where I live, I've only seen guys driving mx-3's. I wouldn't say it's a chick car, a DelSol is more of a chick car in my opinion.

Hm...I don't really know how many female members there are here, but if there aren't enough to satisfy him, maybe a couple guys with really long hair will make him happy.

I don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but I have to ask it. How do I check my motor mounts to see if they need to be replaced? Will it be something visual where I will immediately see if they're busted? Last time I had to replace motor mounts (on a different car) a mechanic happened to cat...

Yeah, you've got to be some kind of big dork to know all that. Juuust kidding (j/k for short :D ). The list goes on and on with those abbreviations. I actually feel like the idiot sometimes because I don't know all the terms when it comes to cars. But I'm learning...slowly.
