Out with the old, in with the new

Well after six years and 70000 fun miles I've said goodbye to my '92 MX-3. I kinda let it go to the point where it needed more work to fix than I was capable of, so it's been bought by someone who has the parts and expertise to keep it on the road, which is the best result possible. <img src="h...

Re: People ruining mx-3's

MX3 people can be just as guilty as Honda people when it comes to loud obnoxious exhaust. I wound up following what appeared to be a purple special edition up I-81 through York, Pennsylvania around 11:30 last night that just sounded awful - must have been an automatic cause it was using pretty much ...

Re: older K-9 security system

I think the alarm in my '92 GS predates remote entry and remote starts and stuff. It has a toggle switch and pushbutton mounted in the driver's side kick panel, and those are the only controls to enable/disble it. Frankly, I wish the car didn't have it (bone stock car that's paid for but has nothing...

Re: Tickets

I think I've been pulled over twice in my Mazda, resulting in one warning and one ticket. The warning was after a long day at the track (Thunder Road) up in Vermont, it took me forever to find an open gas station around midnight and when I finally did and could actually make it home (3 hour ride) I ...

Good looking conrod there. Might make for a one-of-a-kind paperweight at the office.

Re: Getting Caught After the Fact

This is where someone comes in and says the obligatory "yer not too bright there, are ya?"

Frankly, I hope you get caught, and sooner rather than later. You sound like a hazard to yourself and the rest of the roadgoing public.

Re: what's wrong with your car?

My car hasn't really gone anywhere in a good year or so, due to needing some parts and fixing and my needing to wait till I have some spare change to take care of these problems. - brakes! Front rotors severely warped, new pads all around, and the left rear caliper dragging - exhaust, there's a hole...
